Compliance Document Preparation – PRDs

Accurate and fast industrial stormwater documentation for full IGP compliance in California.

Permit Registration Documents That Meet California’s IGP Standards

To comply with the Industrial General Permit (IGP) in California, every industrial facility must maintain accurate and up-to-date Permit Registration Documents (PRDs).

At SoCal Stormwater Solutions, we prepare all required PRDs to help you avoid costly violations and stay inspection-ready. Our team includes QISP-certified professionals with deep experience in SMARTS compliance, technical writing, and regulatory submission.

Whether your facility is located in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco or anywhere in California, we’ll ensure your compliance documents are accurate and complete.

Our PRD Services for Industrial SWPPP

Each document below plays a vital role in meeting the SWRCB’s industrial stormwater compliance requirements.

Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Preparation

The foundation of your stormwater compliance.
We prepare comprehensive SWPPPs tailored to your industrial operations, pollutant sources, BMPs, drainage, and monitoring plans—ready for SMARTS submission.

Site Map / WPCD (Water Pollution Control Drawing)

Visual layout of all pollution control elements.
We create detailed site maps showing flow direction, discharge points, BMP locations, and facility boundaries that meet IGP mapping requirements.

Ad Hoc Report Preparation

Document sampling results or quickly and correctly.
We prepare ad hoc reports in response to qualified rain event sampling results requirements and ensure they are formatted for SMARTS entry.

Change of Information (COI) Preparation

Keep your permit record accurate and up to date.
We handle all COI forms when your compliance team changes, business changes ownership, contacts, or legal entity structure or other SWPPP related changes.

Exceedance Response Action (ERA) Plan & Technical Report

Required when your sampling results exceed pollutant benchmarks.
We assess pollutant sources, recommend corrective BMPs, and prepare ERA Level 1 or Level 2 Action and technical plans—complete with timelines, maps, and QISP technical justifications.

Rain Event Monitoring

Comply with QSE-based sampling and reporting.
We prepare protocols, train staff, and track QSEs (Qualifying Storm Events) to ensure sampling and documentation align with SMARTS rules.

Annual Report Preparation

Submit your compliance record each year.
We collect site data, summarize inspections, and prepare the full Annual Report for SMARTS submission by the July 15 deadline.

Notice of Termination (NOT) Preparation

Close out your permit when coverage is no longer required.
We verify eligibility, collect final documentation, and prepare your NOT submission for regulatory review.

No Exposure Certification (NEC) Preparation

Avoid permit coverage if your site qualifies for NEC.
We evaluate your site and prepare the full NEC packet including photo documentation and facility detail sheets.

Notice of Non-Applicability (NONA) Preparation

Submit a NONA when your site does not discharge to U.S. waters.
We gather hydrologic evidence, draft the engineer justification, and submit the NONA form to the state.

NGO “Notice to Sue” Evaluation

Respond to legal threats from environmental groups.
If your facility receives a 60-day notice of intent to sue, we assess exposure, advise on mitigation, and help prepare technical documentation or revisions needed for legal protection.

Stay Covered with the Right Documents

Don’t risk violations from incomplete or outdated PRDs. Let our experts prepare everything your facility needs to comply with the IGP.
