What’s Included in the Industrial SWPPP Permitting Process
Notice of Intent (NOI) Submission
Begin coverage under the IGP.
We file your NOI through the SMARTS system and ensure all supporting documentation is complete. This allows your facility to legally discharge stormwater under the General Permit.
Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Submission
Submit your full SWPPP to the state.
Our team designs, prepares, and uploads your site-specific SWPPP to SMARTS, including your facility description, pollutant sources, BMPs, and monitoring plan.
Ad Hoc Report Submission
Stay in compliance with the state mandate and avoid unnecessary penalties due to the late sampling and Ad Hoc submission. Responsive to changes or inspection updates.
We analyze and submit your sampling results and Ad Hoc reports on time to SMARTS your SMARTS record up-to-date.
Change of Information (COI) Submission
Keep your permit details accurate.
If there are changes to your facility contact, owner, or location information, or other part of the SWPPP, we file a COI submission quickly to avoid gaps in compliance.

Annual Report Submission
Meet your year-end reporting requirements.
We collect monitoring data, summarize BMP performance, and submit the full Annual Report on your behalf through SMARTS before the July 15 deadline.
Notice of Termination (NOT) Submission
Officially close your IGP coverage.
When your facility no longer requires permit coverage, we prepare and submit the NOT package, including photos and documentation showing compliance with termination criteria.
No Exposure Certification (NEC) Submission
Qualify for permit exemption if all industrial materials are protected and not exposed to stormwater.
We evaluate your site for NEC eligibility and submit the certification with photographic proof and documentation to avoid unnecessary IGP coverage.
Notice of Non-Applicability (NONA) Submission
Declare exemption when stormwater does not discharge to U.S. waters.
We handle NONA evaluations, complete engineering justification, and prepare the full submission for state review.
