Our Construction Inspection & Monitoring Services

Each of the services below is performed in accordance with the 2022 CGP guidelines and regional board requirements.

Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) – Weekly, Monthly & QRE Inspections

QSPs are required to inspect your site and document stormwater controls throughout construction.
We perform scheduled inspections that include:

  • Weekly visual inspections and reporting
  • Qualified Rain Event (QRE) inspections
  • BMP effectiveness checks and corrective action tracking
    All inspection findings are documented and stored in the cloud for client’s access.

QSD Inspection & Reporting – 2022 CGP Update

A Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) must perform routine  inspections per the updated 2022 CGP.
We conduct the additional required QSD inspections including:

  • Conduct an inspection within 30 days of starting construction activities.
  • Inspect within 30 days of appointing a new QSD.
  • Perform two inspections annually:
    • Once between August and October
    • Once between January and March
  • Inspect within 14 calendar days of any Numeric Action Level (NAL) exceedance.
  • Conduct inspections upon written request from Water Board staff.

Stormwater Sampling & Exceedance Reporting

Sampling is required for Risk Level 2 & 3 sites and during qualifying storm events.
We provide:

  • Stormwater grab sampling during QSEs (Qualifying Storm Events)
  • Lab coordination and result interpretation
  • Preparation and submission of Numeric Action Level (NAL) or Numeric Effluent Limit (NEL) exceedance reports
    All reports meet California CGP and SMARTS formatting standards.

Fundamental QSP Delegate Stormwater Training

Delegates performing inspections on your site must complete approved stormwater training.
We offer:

  • Fundamental QSP delegate training for crew leads or site managers
  • Overview of the CGP, BMP types, inspection protocol, and SMARTS basics
  • Certification of participation and field readiness support

Site-Specific QSP Delegate Stormwater Training
